NUNEZ COMMITS TO NAIA POWERHOUSE WAYLAND BAPTIST UNIVERISTY

EL-PASO JUCO (TX) OUTFIELDER BRYAN NUNEZ HAS SIGNED A FULL-RIDE SCHOLARSHIP WITH WAYLAND BAPTIST UNIVERSITY, WILL JOIN CLASS OF 2016 OUTFIELDER REED MCDONALD

When the 6’4, 195 lb. Bryan Nunez first signed with the Luce Prospect Group in 2015, he not only needed a scholarship. He needed a passport, too.

“I remember signing Bryan out of the Dominican for $200,” said LPG Founder Jake Luce. “Our normal investment is $7500 from parents. Bryan signed on with LPG for $200, and now he will have earned about $60,000 in college scholarship money.”

Nunez visited Wayland Baptist earlier in the week and committed while he was on campus. “He did the little things right,” said Recruiting Coordinator Todd Weldon (@TWeldon25). “In particular, we liked how Bryan communicated very well in the outfield. We look for guys that know how to do the little things right. Bryan showed us what we needed to see. Coach Bass and all of us on staff are excited to get him on-board.”

This is the eleventh Class of 2017 Prospect to sign a scholarship for LPG.
